Cymdeithas yr Iaith is a voluntary movement. Unlike other bodies and institutions in Wales, the Society doesn't receive any grants or other financial aid, but depends completely on the generosity of its members and supporters. You are Cymdeithas yr Iaith's grant!

There's no doubt that we need to campaign in several fields in order to secure the future of the Welsh language and the communities where Welsh is spoken. Of course this is expensive work. Consider the costs involved in organizing the regular meetings, rallies and conferences which are necessary if we are to get our message across.
